Napoli puts sad little Pisa in its place

Napoli secured a 3-2 triumph over visiting Pisa during their Serie A encounter at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The fourth-round fixture saw Billy Gilmour net the opening goal in the 39th minute for the home side. Pisa responded with an equalizer from Mbala Nzola after 60 minutes of play. Leonardo Spinazzola restored Napoli's advantage in the 73rd minute, and Lorenzo Luca extended their lead nine minutes later. Laurent scored a consolation goal for Pisa in stoppage time.

The victory elevated Napoli to the summit of the Italian league table with 12 points. Pisa remains anchored near the bottom with just one point from four matches. The guests occupy the 19th position in the current standings. Napoli demonstrated superior attacking prowess throughout the contest. The result maintains their perfect start to the domestic campaign.
