Nasarawa Warns Ex Rep Over Claims of Sheltering Bandits

Nasarawa State officials warned former Benue lawmaker Mark Gbilah about his dangerous comments. Peter Ahemba speaks for Governor Abdullahi Sule and said Gbilah makes false claims about bandits. The ex-politician told AIT television that criminals hide inside Nasarawa borders. State leaders reject these accusations as lies meant to cause trouble. They worry such talk could spark fights between the two states.

Governor Sule works hard to keep peace across North-Central Nigeria. He leads meetings with other governors to fight crime and violence. Benue Governor Hyacinth Alia joins these security talks regularly. The governors share information and plan joint operations against criminals. Nasarawa helps its neighbors fight armed gangs and kidnappers.

Ahemba called Gbilah's words malicious and designed to destroy regional unity. He wants public figures to stop making inflammatory statements about security issues. Leaders should build bridges rather than tear them down through careless speech. The government asks people to ignore Gbilah's false claims about bandit camps. Nasarawa remains dedicated to protecting all citizens from harm.
