Natasha gets her shot in court, civil groups urge senators to keep it private

A bunch of civil society groups said Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan can finally prove her sexual harassment accusations against Senate President Godswill Akpabio after he dropped a 200 billion naira defamation lawsuit on her at the Federal Capital Territory High Court. The Nigeria Integrity Watch coalition thinks the legal route beats social media drama for settling their beef, which stems from her calling him a predator on TV and online platforms.

Dr. John Samuel Nangi from the coalition pointed out that this stays between the two senators without dragging the entire Senate or federal government into it. He told both of them to let judges handle everything instead of performing for cameras and chasing sympathy points from the public, since Nigerians care more about actual national problems than political theatre between lawmakers.
