Nation Weeps as Gospel Legend Pastor Barak Buried

Pastor Siphethangani Sibanda died Wednesday at age 47. People knew him as Pastor Barak across Zimbabwe. Family and friends buried him at Umvutsha Park Cemetery after a church service. Many gospel singers came to say goodbye to their friend and teacher.

Everton Mlalazi worked with Pastor Barak for many years. He said the pastor helped many people and brought hope to communities. Brighton Ncube also sang with Pastor Barak and called him a great team leader. Both men said they would miss their friend very much.

Rachel Sibanda lost her husband and spoke about his kind heart. She said Pastor Barak always showed love to everyone he met. People often asked him to lead groups because he cared about others. His wife said grace followed him everywhere he went. She will remember his gentle ways and strong faith.

Pastor Barak made gospel music for many years across the country. His songs touched people from different places and backgrounds. The gospel music world feels empty without his voice and leadership. His message about love and faith will keep inspiring people for years ahead.
