National University to Offer July Martyred Memorial Scholarships to Students

National University plans to give money to students at colleges under its system. The school will award these payments to remember people who died during protests last July and August. Students can use this scholarship money to help pay for their education. The university wants to keep the memory of brave protesters alive. These young people gave their lives during the student movement against unfair treatment.

Chief Adviser Prof Dr Muhammad Yunus will hand out scholarship checks on July 1. He will meet students at his office located in the Tejgaon area of the city. The same day, he will start special programs that will run for 36 days. These memorial events will continue until August 5 to mark when the uprising happened. The programs will honor those who fought for their country during a difficult time.

Television and radio stations will show the ceremony as it happens. Bangladesh Television and Bangladesh Betar will broadcast the event live to viewers across the country. Private media companies will also cover the scholarship ceremony. People at home can watch the Chief Adviser give out the awards. The live coverage will help more citizens learn about the scholarship program.

University leaders decided to create this scholarship to make sure students remember the martyrs. They want current students to feel proud of their country after learning about these brave people. The protesters showed great love for Bangladesh when they gave their lives. Their sacrifice happened during a very important moment for the nation.
