Nayanthara guns up as Ganga in Yash’s Toxic fairytale

A studio finally revealed a major co-star's look for a blockbuster actor's next film. The first image of actress Nayanthara as the character Ganga debuted for the movie Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash and directed by Geetu Mohandas. The photo presents her as a formidable presence in a casino setting, holding a gun with composed authority. Director Mohandas stated that Nayanthara's personal depth aligned perfectly with the role, revealing a previously unexplored dimension of her acting.

The film features a large ensemble, including Kiara Advani as Nadia and Huma Qureshi as Elizabeth. Written by Yash and Mohandas, it was shot simultaneously in Kannada and English, with plans for dubbed releases in several Indian languages. The technical crew includes cinematographer Rajeev Ravi, composer Ravi Basrur, and editor Ujwal Kulkarni. Hollywood action designer JJ Perry collaborated with the Anbariv duo on stunts. Produced by Venkat K. Narayana and Yash, the project targets a global theatrical release.
