His office confirmed that toxicology reports from Serenity Hospital identified dangerously high levels of substances, including marijuana, cocaine, morphine, opiates, and alcohol in her system. The situation escalated when she was hospitalized unconscious on October 3 following a drug overdose.
According to the senator's communication team, a rehabilitation center confirmed it authored the reports but did not leak them. The center reportedly faced significant challenges during her treatment, citing repeated interference from some of Regina Daniels' siblings who allegedly supplied her with alcohol and marijuana, undermining the rehabilitation process. Senator Nwoko stated that his insistence on continued therapy is driven by concern for her well-being and the welfare of their two young sons, describing her as vulnerable and influenced by external voices.
