Nepal leaves West Indies wrecked at Sharjah

Nepal secured a historic 2-0 series victory against West Indies with one match remaining after bowling out the Caribbean side for just 83 runs in Sharjah on Monday. The 18th-ranked team posted 173 for six before dismissing West Indies in 17.1 overs for a 90-run triumph. Mohammad Aadil Alam claimed four wickets while Kushal Bhurtel took three as Nepal recorded the largest victory margin by an associate nation over a full member.

Aasif Sheikh scored an unbeaten 68 and Sundeep Jora hit 63 with five sixes during a 100-run partnership that built Nepal's total. West Indies collapsed from 63 for four to their lowest score against an associate member. The defeat follows the Test team's dismissal for 27 against Australia two months earlier. Nepal aims to complete a series sweep on Tuesday before qualifying rounds for the 2026 World Cup.
