The New Media Association of Ghana is throwing its first-ever gaming event at the University of Ghana Stadium in Legon, bringing together bloggers, influencers, content creators, and digital journalists for some networking mixed with competitive activities. President Eugene Osafo-Nkansah said the whole thing exists to unite people who usually grind solo in the new media world, and it will let them build relationships while getting brand visibility and partnership opportunities.
Entry is free, and the lineup includes football, athletics, arm wrestling, tug of war, and other team-based stuff designed to get everyone working together. The event is also supposed to help corporate types and creative industry folks connect with digital professionals.
