Newcastle exiles Isak from tour after Liverpool, Al-Hilal interest

Newcastle United striker Alexander Isak faces conflict with his club after requesting a transfer this summer. The Swedish forward will not travel with the team to Singapore for preseason preparations. Telegraph reports indicate Newcastle management refuses to approve his departure despite the formal transfer request. The club maintains its position against contract renewal discussions.

Liverpool and Al-Hilal pursue the talented forward through competing bids. Newcastle rejected Liverpool's previous 120 million pound proposal for the striker. The Merseyside club prepares an enhanced 130 million pound offer to secure his services.

Real Sociedad sold Isak to Newcastle for 63 million pounds during 2022. The striker delivered impressive statistics last campaign with 27 goals and six assists across 42 appearances. His performance attracted interest from multiple clubs seeking attacking reinforcements.
