Nigeria Air Force Raid Destroys Terror Den at Lake Chad

The Nigerian Air Force struck a terrorist camp at Bukar Meram near Lake Chad early Monday morning. Fighter jets attacked the area at 5:45 a.m. as part of Operation KALACHEN WUTA II. The military wanted to stop planned attacks during holiday celebrations. Counter-terrorism expert Zagazola Makama shared the news on social media. Intelligence reports showed terrorists gathering at the location.

The enemy fighters planned to attack the towns of Marte and Monguno. Air force commanders received reliable information about the threat. Military officials quickly sent aircraft to hit the terrorist base. The precise bombing killed several enemy fighters. The attacks destroyed supply trucks, temporary shelters, and weapons storage areas.

The successful mission stopped the planned assault on both towns. Military leaders confirmed that the operation was successful based on damage reports. Intelligence teams continue watching for enemy movements after the strike. Ground soldiers remain ready to chase any escaping terrorists. The operation damaged the group's ability to plan future attacks.
