Nigeria Customs breaks website, threatens applicants

The Nigeria Customs Service postponed its recruitment examination for Superintendent Cadre candidates following technical difficulties. The agency divided the affected applicants into four separate groups after the online system experienced breakdowns due to excessive user activity. Officials announced the revised schedule would accommodate all previously notified participants.

Candidates must verify their assigned session details using national identification numbers through the customs website. The service emphasized that adherence to designated times remains essential for continued participation. Violations of scheduling requirements will result in automatic removal from the selection process.

Applicants pursuing Inspectorate and Assistant positions received instructions to await separate communication. The preliminary examination serves as practice rather than evaluation for final hiring decisions. Authorities designed the session to help participants become comfortable with digital testing procedures.
