Nigerian soldiers freed, head to Portugal via Accra

A Nigerian military aircraft detained in Burkina Faso has moved to Ghana. The C-130 plane and its crew are safe after a precautionary landing in Bobo Dioulasso. They are en route to Portugal for scheduled maintenance stops.

Air Force spokesperson Ehimen Ejodame confirmed the update from Abuja. He thanked the public for their concern and emphasized continued operational safety. The aircraft and its eleven personnel were previously held by the Burkinabe junta following the unscheduled landing.
