Nigeria's CAC Launches AI-Powered Portal for Seamless Business Registration

Nigeria's Corporate Affairs Commission rolled out a game-changing artificial intelligence system that transforms how people register businesses. The new portal makes starting a company faster and easier than ever before. Registrar-General Hussaini Ishaq Magaji announced the breakthrough at a major meeting in Port Harcourt. Business owners can reserve names as quickly as setting up an email account. The smart system gives instant approvals and suggests backup names when needed.

The revolutionary platform lets entrepreneurs register using just their National Identification Number from a director or owner. Full business registration takes less than 30 minutes from name picking to certificate printing. An AI photo matching system kicks in if the national ID database runs slow. The commission received over 100 partnership requests from local and international super agents. The Nigerian Inter-Bank Settlement System wants to team up with the new service.

Extra security features arrive soon to protect company records from hackers. Two-factor authentication and one-time passwords will guard all transactions. A mobile app launches during the final months of 2025 for business tracking on phones. The commission plans to raise some service fees starting August first to fund more improvements. Key business groups from Port Harcourt praised the new system at the launch event.

Technical experts worked the room during the forum to fix customer problems on the spot. The commission promises transparent service that responds to user needs. This marks a major step forward for Nigeria's digital business world.
