No Protest Just Peace and Business As Usual

Zimbabwe officials want people to keep living normally because cops will stay alert for trouble. Information Minister Jenfan Muswere spoke yesterday in Harare, telling everyone not to worry about protest talk on social media. He called these messages fake and said police can handle any problems that might happen. According to the constitution, security forces stand ready to protect peace across the country.

Dr. Muswere warned against fake videos made with artificial intelligence from what he called comedian terrorists. These messages try to trick citizens and create fear. The government plans to punish anyone trying to cause panic or disorder. Nobody has the right to fight against elected leaders. Workers, business people, and students should continue their regular activities since security teams can manage any illegal actions.

Home Affairs Minister Kazembe Kazembe promised Zimbabweans they would remain safe. Peace exists today and will continue tomorrow and beyond. He asked citizens to go about their daily lives without fear. Police watch for troublemakers who might disturb the calm. Officials warned people not to believe old recycled videos designed to make the country look unstable. One example showed vendors in Bulawayo at a funeral for their friend.

Minister Kazembe urged Zimbabweans not to help criminals who want to steal from businesses during protests. He blamed outside groups for targeting people and property. Police reported fires in Harare, Goromonzi, and Sanyati that they are currently investigating. The law enforcement agency stated that Zimbabwe remains peaceful, and everyone can move freely. They promise to stop anyone who blocks others from going to work under the excuse of demonstrations.

Police leader Stephen Mutamba contacted education officials about private schools sending students home based on false social media claims. In Bulawayo, public transportation providers assured residents they would operate normally tomorrow. They described the protests as harmful and potentially violent. Various business groups asked people to ignore calls for demonstrations. They emphasized how unrest creates uncertainty and affects livelihoods.

Masvingo officials held a press briefing on Saturday where they guaranteed safety for residents, businesses, and schools. Security teams stay on high alert throughout the province. Religious leaders joined government officials in condemning protest plans. Nigerian pastor Chris Oyakhilome called protest organizers agents of evil trying to destroy Zimbabwe. He asked Christians to fast and pray for their country today. Retail representatives confirmed that all stores will open on Monday with police protection.
