Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem wants to slap travel bans on a bunch of countries she says are dumping criminals into America. Trump and DHS backed her up by resharing her post, but nobody's saying which nations are getting hit yet or when this kicks off. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt mentioned Trump already banned 19 countries back in June, and this new move just widens the net.
The whole thing blew up after two National Guard members got shot in DC by an Afghan guy who came over through a Biden-era program for Afghans who helped US troops.
