NPP Unveils Ambitious Plans for Youth and Women

Gambia's Ruling Party Sets New Plans After Meeting.

The National People's Party shared its latest work and goals after its meeting in Soma. Party leader Seedy Sheriff Ceesay talked about what they found and wanted to do next.

The party sent teams around the country to learn about local needs. They met people face to face and heard what mattered most. Young people need more chances to work and grow, they learn, and women need better support as well.

NPP opened new offices in each area to help local groups work better. The party wants peace with other political groups, Ceesay said. They started talking more with rival parties to make the country stronger.

President Barrow's peace soccer games ended with Upper Nuimi taking the top prize. The games brought people together from all parts of the country.

The party works hard to tell people what it does, Ceesay said. They hold many press meetings and train their staff to share news better. They hired 70 workers to run their offices and gave school money to 50 students.

NPP built new centers in eight areas and is almost finished with its main office in Bandung. The party wants more young people and women to join and lead.

"We want The Gambia to grow stronger," Ceesay said. He asked party members to bring in more supporters from every part of the nation.
