The National Unity Platform started lessons again at their School of Leadership in Kamwokya. This happened only days after police and soldiers came and took many things from the school.
Lewis Rubongoya told people on the internet that classes began again on Monday. The students showed bravery by coming back. He said nice things about teacher Alex Rovans Lwanyaga. The police had locked up Alex and hurt him, but he came back to teach his class right after they let him go.
"When a passion for a better country drives you, nothing can stop you!" Rubongoya wrote.
Last week, people from the police and army rushed into the offices of the National Unity Platform, broke things at the School of Leadership, and took away many books and papers. The government has not told people why they did this.
The leaders of NUP said the police wanted to stop them from teaching people about politics. The police said they found things they would use in a case.
The National Unity Platform still wants to teach its members how to become good leaders. They will keep running the School of Leadership even though people tried to scare them.
