NVIDIA drops $4K DGX Spark bombs with 1K TOPS

NVIDIA's custom DGX Spark models from partner manufacturers will arrive in stores by next month after positive reception to the Founders Edition. The compact professional device delivers 1,000 trillion operations per second through its GB10 Grace Blackwell Superchip, which combines the Blackwell GPU with fifth-generation Tensor Cores and FP4 support. Taiwanese board partners will produce 70 percent of units, with Acer, ASUS, Gigabyte, and MSI offering versions at approximately $4,000 each.

The mini-supercomputer represents NVIDIA's entry into compact computing and may preview the company's future AI PC chips that pair x86 architecture with RTX GPU chiplets through its Intel partnership. Broader availability of both partner and Founders Edition models should occur between the fourth quarter of this year and the first quarter of 2026 at major retailers.
