Ocean Swift Releases Dystopia Diary for Kontakt 8

Ocean Swift Synthesis Introduces Advanced Sound Design Library for Film and Games.

Ocean Swift Synthesis has launched Dystopia Diary, a comprehensive sound design instrument for the Native Instruments Kontakt 8 Player platform. This new release targets composers and producers in film scoring, game audio, ambient music, and techno production.

The library contains more than 1,800 distinct samples that span industrial sounds, military communications, shortwave radio signals, environmental recordings, and atmospheric drones. These elements combine to help musicians create rich, otherworldly soundscapes and textures.

Users can access all sample content directly, as the library eschews sample encoding. This approach gives sound designers the freedom to work with the audio material both within Kontakt and through other platforms. The instrument supports Native Instruments' NKS2 protocol, offering enhanced visual feedback and control integration for musicians using Kontrol Mk3 keyboard controllers.

The sound-shaping capabilities include dual filters, modulation systems, and extensive effects processing. These tools enable musicians to transform the source material into varied sonic textures, from subtle atmospheric elements to aggressive industrial tones.

This release expands Ocean Swift Synthesis' presence in the professional audio market, providing media composers and electronic music producers with new resources for creating distinctive soundscapes.
