Ashai Odamtten gave construction materials and lighting equipment to the Tema Technical Institute to help expand school facilities. The Tema East lawmaker delivered 100 cement bags, 100 energy-saving bulbs and 10 streetlights to administrators on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025.
The donation arrived as first-year students attended orientation sessions. Odamtten told new arrivals to focus on discipline and creative thinking, while promising to work with school leaders to improve. He said the institute benefits from its location near factories where students learn practical skills.
Principal Amarh Nyamekye said the supplies will upgrade campus security systems and building projects. He thanked the representative for backing technical training programs. The materials support efforts to develop youth skills and make Tema East a center for industrial education.
