ODM cries foul as UDA eyes its Western stronghold

The opposition is losing its mind over alleged party poaching in the West. Godfrey Osotsi claims the United Democratic Alliance is sneaking into Orange Democratic Movement networks. He spotted officials from Vihiga and Kakamega at a hotel meeting with rivals. The deputy boss says they are tricked into helping with local votes under a fake partnership claim.

Osotsi feels this is sketchy, since Raila Odinga recently passed away. He blasted a new regional presidential caucus as a hostile takeover filled with threats against dissenters. The politician insists this violates the Political Parties Act and their internal constitution.

He noted the only real deal involves reforms after the Gen Z riots. Osotsi stressed that his group stands alone and is not just some accessory for 2027. He warned members to block these moves because they act like a legal merger exists when it does not.

This drama hits while William Ruto is polling high in Mulembe Nation. Data from Infotrak shows the president is crushing it there before the election. It seems the opposition is stressing about losing its grip on the base.
