The latest Ofada Rice Day festival just wrapped up in Lagos. The seventh edition of the big food party, called Eko Dun Joor, drew over eight thousand people to Muri Okunola Park on Victoria Island.
Musical acts like Salawa Abeni and Broda Shaggy headlined the event. It featured a bunch of sponsors, including Pocketmoni, Goldberg, and MTN. Officials from the Canadian embassy and local government joined traditional rulers in the crowd.
The creative director, Tobi Fletcher, called the festival a milestone for promoting Nigerian food and culture. His partner Oyinda Fletcher thanked everyone for attending. The event mixed performances with showcasing local cuisine for a full cultural experience.
