Okudzeto Ablakwa storms Abidjan to rescue Gbinyiri refugees with Adom

Ghana's Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration Minister Samuel Okudzeto-Ablakwa began a diplomatic mission to Côte d'Ivoire focused on assisting displaced citizens. Okudzeto-Ablakwa praised the extraordinary welcome he received from his diplomatic counterpart.

The minister emphasized the Mahama government's commitment to protecting all citizens regardless of their location worldwide. Direct engagement with displaced Ghanaians will form a central component of the diplomatic agenda. Bilateral discussions with Ivorian authorities will address the humanitarian situation facing the refugees. The mission seeks to guarantee both safety and dignity for those affected by the regional violence. Government officials stressed their unwavering dedication to citizen welfare across international boundaries.
