Opposition INDIA Bloc holds virtual meeting to strategize for Monsoon Session

Opposition parties will convene virtually Saturday evening to coordinate their parliamentary approach. Congress leaders moved the strategy session online from Mallikarjun Kharge's residence to expand participation across India. The 7 PM meeting brings together representatives from multiple parties such as RJD, Shiv Sena, Samajwadi Party, and Left factions. Abhishek Banerjee from Trinamool Congress plans to join while AAP's attendance remains uncertain. K.C. Venugopal confirmed the leadership gathering will address upcoming legislative priorities.

Bihar's electoral roll revision dominates planned discussions among opposition members. The Election Commission conducted Special Intensive Revision exercises ahead of state assembly elections. Congress MP Jairam Ramesh attacked the process as deliberate vote manipulation tactics. He compared the electoral changes to previous demonetization policies on social media platforms. The alliance seeks unified resistance against perceived democratic threats during the approaching Monsoon Session.
