Orange Tree Samples captures the Spanish guitar in Honey Nylon

Orange Tree Samples launched Evolution Honey Nylon, a digital guitar instrument for Native Instruments Kontakt Player. The software captures authentic Spanish classical guitar sounds through fingerstyle recording techniques. Rosewood Recording Company in Utah collaborated on the project development. Guy Randle engineered the sessions using analog equipment to enhance the guitar's natural tones. The library offers both original recordings and processed versions.

The collection contains over 12,600 samples spanning 9.45 gigabytes of audio content. Musicians can access various playing techniques such as sustained notes, palm muting, harmonics, and percussion effects. The software features legato programming for smooth transitions between notes. A built-in pattern system helps users create strumming and picking sequences. Physical modeling technology allows adjustment of virtual pick placement.

The instrument targets multiple musical styles from Latin to Flamenco genres. Factory presets provide ready-made guitar sounds for immediate use. Orange Tree Samples prices the library at $139 through August 15, 2025, before increasing to $179. The free Kontakt Player supports the instrument without additional software purchases. Users can download and install the library directly through Native Instruments systems.
