Orrick snags Norton Rose Fulbright M&A quartet in Munich

Orrick Herrington & Sutcliffe has secured a quartet of mergers and acquisitions specialists from Norton Rose Fulbright's Munich office, strengthening its German corporate practice with deal expertise spanning energy infrastructure and technology sectors. Partners Michael Prüssner and Benjamin Schikora will join associates Hannah Frahm and Helge Meyer next month after advising major corporations like Siemens Energy and Rolls-Royce Power Systems on complex transactions.

The recruitment brings Orrick's European partner additions this year to 16 lawyers as major firms battle for talent in Germany's competitive legal market. Prüssner previously led Norton Rose Fulbright's German corporate securities group and brings nearly two decades of experience from Eversheds Sutherland, Pinsent Masons and an in-house stint as general counsel for fashion retailer Peek & Cloppenburg.
