Two people received good news as the country faces money problems. Chikondi Banda and Billy Shaibu won big money from Betpawa by playing games.
Banda lives in Lilongwe and won 140 million kwacha playing Aviator and JetX. He felt very happy when he received his prize money. He wants to ask someone smart about money to help him plan what to do with his winnings.
"I like playing JetX and Aviator because they feel easy," he said. Banda could not believe when he won. "I watched the numbers go up fast and fast. My eyes opened wide. My heart beat very fast when I cashed out." He added, "I want to help my village because my family members need money. I want to make their lives better."
Shaibu works at a gas station in Mangochi. He won 127 million kwacha after his friend told him about betting. He already used some of his money for good things. "I will keep helping my family with the money, but I will stay at my job at the gas station to make sure my family has everything they need," he said.
A person from Betpawa named Bita Nakanga said the company wants to make their players happy. "These big wins show how we want to create amazing moments for our players," he explained.
The biggest winner from Africa was Fuseini Saka from Ghana. He won 841.3 million kwacha last November. A man from Rwanda named Jacques Tuziyere won 250 million kwacha last May. A farmer from Ntcheu named Peter Vanasiyo won 200 million kwacha from a game called BetPawa Aero. He only bet 200 kwacha.
