Pakistan Kills 30 Militants in Border Clash, Blames India for Backing Terror

Pakistan's military gunned down 30 fighters who tried sneaking across the border from Afghanistan during three wild days of combat. The deadly showdown happened right after terrorists blew up 16 Pakistani soldiers with a suicide bomb attack. Army chiefs say the dead fighters worked for Pakistan Taliban groups that take orders from India. Military commanders grabbed loads of weapons and explosives from the bodies.

The bloodbath went down around North Waziristan where Pakistan Taliban gangs love causing trouble. Pakistani leaders keep pointing fingers at Afghanistan for letting these terror groups set up camp on their land. India gets blamed even more for secretly funding and training the militants who attack Pakistani forces. Both countries deny they support any terrorist activities.

India and Pakistan just finished their worst fighting in decades during a four-day war that left 70 people dead. The violence started when India accused Pakistan of helping gunmen massacre 26 civilians in Kashmir back in April. Pakistan's government said they had nothing to do with that deadly attack on innocent people.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif cheered his security forces for stopping the border invasion attempt. His office promised to wipe out every single terrorist group operating inside Pakistan. Government officials also blamed India for stirring up all the militant violence across the country.

Terror attacks have gotten much worse since Afghanistan's Taliban took control in 2021. Armed groups have already murdered over 290 people this year with most victims being security officers. Pakistan's government just boosted military spending by 20 percent to fight the growing threat.
