Pakistan's first modern police hospital nears completion in Islamabad

Pakistan will complete its inaugural modern police medical facility by December this year. The 252-bed hospital represents a Rs6.4 billion investment located at Islamabad Police Headquarters. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi conducted an inspection visit to assess construction progress. He acknowledged Ahsan Iqbal as the project originator while promising personal oversight until completion. The minister directed officials to accelerate finishing work for rapid operational readiness.

Inspector General Ali Nasir Rizvi reported that the grey structure phase has reached completion. Construction teams are simultaneously building a nurse training institute capable of educating over 500 medical professionals. DIG Ali Raza and additional officials accompanied the ministerial inspection tour. Naqvi emphasized deploying all available resources to establish this healthcare model for police personnel across Pakistan. The facility will serve as the nation's first dedicated medical center exclusively for law enforcement officers.
