Palau floods Zimbabwe Grounds bash, 200k chase Jesus

Zimbabwe Grounds in Highfield will host a major religious celebration beginning Friday. Evangelist Andrew Palau leads this three-day gathering designed to unite diverse communities through Christian faith. Four prominent church organizations collaborate to present the Love Zimbabwe Festival, targeting an audience of 200,000 attendees across Harare and nearby regions. The event showcases performances by Nigerian artist Ada Ehi, Michael Mahendere, and Tembalami, among other musicians from various countries.

Palau emphasizes that the festival addresses youth challenges such as drug addiction through innovative methods. Athletic competitions, musical performances, and community meetings create opportunities for young people to encounter spiritual transformation. Different denominations demonstrate unified cooperation while advancing religious outreach throughout Zimbabwe. Palau and his wife, Wendy, conducted extensive preparation through a five-month regional campaign. Their previous Zambian initiative attracted over 374,900 participants and facilitated personal faith commitments from more than 154,600 individuals.
