Parasakthi producer says Vijay fan backlash was misread

That producer dude is getting roasted online after his comments about fan culture got totally twisted. Dev Ramnath clarified his viral post was misinterpreted, stating he would never warn a superstar's loyal followers. He emphasized his plea was simply for his film Parasakthi to receive fair judgment in theaters, not just later on streaming platforms.

Ramnath explained that criticism is welcome, but deliberate campaigns to undermine a movie's release hurt everyone involved. He pointed to the similar treatment of another major star's film as damaging to the entire industry. The producer argued the current climate makes financiers hesitant, reducing film production overall.

His movie Parasakthi features Sivakarthikeyan and Sreeleela, focusing on historical language protests in Tamil Nadu. The film includes Ravi Mohan as the antagonist and Atharvaa in a key role. It has music by G V Prakash and cinematography by Ravi K Chandran, with stunt work by Supreme Sundar. The project was released for a festival.
