Part-Time Jobs in St. Petersburg See Surge in Demand and Pay

St. Petersburg workers are finding more jobs these days. People want part-time work more than ever before. The numbers jumped up 57% since January started.

City residents posted over 300,000 resumes looking for part-time positions during the first half of the year. Companies put up more than 30,000 part-time job openings. That beats last year's numbers by 5%.

Part-time workers earn about 72,300 rubles on average. Their pay went up 13% from last year. Drivers make the most money at around 180,000 rubles.

Couriers bring home about 153,000 rubles each month. Doctors earn around 100,000 rubles for part-time work. Companies need couriers, sellers, doctors, teachers, packers, waiters and drivers most.

The job website hh.ru tracked all these changes. Their research shows St. Petersburg's work scene is getting better. More people find the flexible jobs they want.
