A faith group marked twenty years of community work at a ceremony held at Mulunguzi Primary School in Zomba. Passion Centre for the Children has helped transform lives across Malawi through various development programs. The organization built homes for needy children and taught job skills to young people. Staff members also covered education costs for students who could not afford school fees.
Pastor Pilira Chibwana leads the group as National Coordinator and spoke about their accomplishments during the celebration. The organization assisted more than 1,500 individuals who later became medical workers, educators and skilled craftspeople. Clean water projects reached over 300,000 people throughout the region.
