Paul faked Hamlet creds, now fights fake anacondas

Turns out Paul Rudd's resume used to be full of it. The actor admitted on a talk show that early in his career, his manager heavily embellished his experience. The fib claimed Rudd performed Hamlet in a production directed by Ben Kingsley. In reality, Rudd had only taken a single afternoon masterclass with the Oscar winner.

Rudd's actual big break came later with roles in Clueless and a Halloween sequel. He's now promoting a new meta-comedy reboot titled Anaconda, where he co-stars with Jack Black. The film involves two friends trying to remake the original monster movie in the Amazon. Black said he only agreed to do the project after confirming Rudd was attached, finding the script uniquely funny and packed with memorable scenes. Rudd added that the premise reminded him of another clever meta film, which attracted him to the idea.
