Peterson’s StroboVUE - tiny pedalboard tuner, pro accuracy

Pedalboard nerds obsessed with saving space just found their newest shiny obsession. Peterson launches the StroboVUE tuner in mid-January 2025 with a price tag of 129 pounds. This compact unit features rear-mounted jacks to maximize board real estate. The design keeps the display active constantly for quick checks during sets.

That screen uses the same tech found in the StroboStomp HD but fits into a smaller enclosure. Users can customize colors for visibility under stage lights or sunlight. Accuracy remains tight at 0.1 cents while supporting various instruments through 130 sweetened or guided tuning options.

Engineers included a high-quality buffer to prevent signal loss over long cable runs. The device supports an adjustable Concert A pitch between 390 and 490 Hz. Firmware updates happen via USB-C connections. Power requires a standard 9V supply since no battery option exists inside the tiny box.
