PlugInGuru launches Unify 2 with new features and enhancements

PlugInGuru launched Unify 2, a software container that consolidates multiple audio processors and synthesizers into a single workspace. The program ships with more than 60 built-in tools and 850 preset configurations. Users can replace bundled components with third-party plugins through simple interface actions.

The updated version features 32 macro controls, each with modulation sources for automated parameter movement. Engineers redesigned the interface, reorganizing layers to display expanded operational data. The included GuruSampler 2.0 adds three envelopes and three modulation generators, along with enhanced filtering that operates independently for each note.

A new step sequencer creates rhythmic patterns within the host environment. The Play page removes technical elements, showing only performance controls and visual graphics. An integrated recording system captures performances as audio and MIDI data in stereo mixes or individual layer outputs.

The metronome function accepts any Unify configuration as a timing reference. The software provides independent audio routing for each layer, enabling surround sound configurations. A bonus sample library delivers 7 gigabytes of content drawn from 27 previous collections.

The full program costs 99 dollars through Nov. 9 on Apple and Windows systems. Registered owners of the first version pay 49 dollars for the upgrade.
