Bloemfontein police are hunting gunmen who killed twin brothers. Kegomodicoe and Keabecoe Lekone died after attackers shot them inside their charcoal Ford Ranger at a Ramatsoele Street gate in Bochabela. Both 52-year-old owners of Ekhayeni Lounge Bar were found dead when officers arrived around 09:00 following an 08:51 active shooting report.
Kegomodicoe was driving when the attack happened. Paramedics declared both men deceased right there at the scene. Investigators need help identifying whoever pulled the trigger during this double murder incident.
A witness heard gunfire from upstairs in a double-storey building on the property. He rushed outside but only saw a man sprinting toward a white Chevrolet Aveo hatchback. That getaway vehicle sped off with other occupants allegedly already waiting inside.
The fleeing suspect might have been carrying something, but the witness could not confirm details. Authorities want anyone with relevant information to come forward immediately. Locating these suspects remains the top priority for Mangaung police working this case.
