A top cop in Uganda spoke out after police killed a National Unity Platform backer at a rally in Iganga Municipality, and Commissioner Dinah Kyasiimire said the officer responsible will face charges. The victim was Meshach Okello, and three others got hurt when cops responded to stones being thrown at them during the campaign event. Kyasiimire admitted her officers sometimes mess up the situation when trying to keep things under control, and she straight-up said nobody was supposed to be shooting anyone.
