PPP Cheers Banjul Ward Vote Then Gears Up

The People's Progressive Party thanked supporters Monday after the Banjul Half-Die Ward election. They called the vote a win for democracy even though their candidate lost. The party said everyone who voted helped make democracy stronger. They praised all citizens who took part, regardless of which party they backed.

PPP celebrated their candidate, Salieu Jallow, for running a positive campaign. They said he showed dignity throughout the race. The party believes he connected with many voters during his campaign. Campaign workers earned special thanks for their hard work spreading the party's message. PPP leaders noted how volunteers helped through donations and community organizing.

The party describes itself as more than just a political group. It claims to stand for protecting national independence and legal rights. PPP congratulated the National People's Party on its victory at the polls. It promised to respect the results as showing what voters wanted. The party pledged to keep working for all Gambians, no matter their political views.
