Protility v1.1.0 update adds mid-side and dual gain

Process.Audio just improved their free Protility plugin with version 1.1.0, which brings several new features anyone can use. You can encode and decode audio in mid/Side format. The width control can be split into two separate sliders that let you adjust the mid and Side channels independently. They also added an option for dual output gain control.

The team fixed some bugs that needed attention. Before this update, pan laws would disappear when you saved your settings or presets. Another problem happened when users scrolled through presets - the dual pan mode would vanish from view. Both these issues have been solved with the latest version.

This update makes Protility more useful for audio engineers and music producers. The plugin remains completely free despite these improvements. Anyone working with stereo processing will find the new Mid/Side functions especially helpful. The dual sliders give much finer control over your stereo image than previous versions allowed.

You can download the updated Protility directly from Process.Audio right away. These changes show how the company keeps improving its products based on user feedback. The fixes ensure everything works correctly when saving and loading your favorite settings. Many audio professionals will appreciate these thoughtful additions to an already handy tool.
