PSI Audio introduces A326 D-REX speaker to expand A226 MAIN system's dynamic range

PSI Audio introduces the A326 D-REX speaker as a specialized companion unit for their A226 MAIN monitoring system. The manufacturer clarifies that this device functions as a dynamic range enhancer rather than a traditional subwoofer since the A226 already reproduces frequencies reaching 20Hz. Three 10-inch drivers power the A326 D-REX across a frequency spectrum from 20 to 100 Hz. The system achieves seamless integration when both units operate together as a unified speaker configuration. Perfect frequency and phase alignment results when users stack the components vertically.

The combined setup delivers maximum sound pressure levels reaching 126dB while preserving the transparent audio quality characteristic of the A226 series. Swiss specialists manufacture each A326 D-REX unit at PSI Audio facilities using precise calibration methods. Individual testing occurs within anechoic chambers before shipment to customers. Users receive detailed measurement graphs documenting their specific unit performance. The company has not released pricing details or confirmed availability dates for the A326 D-REX at this time.
