PSPaudioware dropped a new free plugin called the stereoAnalyser2. It is an advanced stereo meter made to give you a clear picture of your stereo field while you work on recording, mixing, or mastering tasks.
This tool packs in a lot of features for analyzing your signal. It includes an X-Y scope, which is also called a goniometer, for seeing stereo width and phase in real time. You also get both peak and RMS meters, plus separate meters for checking correlation and left-right balance. It allows frequency-limited monitoring with adjustable filters, zoomable displays, and uses high-precision sixty-four-bit processing. This all helps with judging width, phase issues, mono compatibility, and overall clarity.
Other handy features include a resizable interface, a system for saving and comparing presets, and an undo redo function. It supports very high sample rates as well, all the way up to three hundred eighty-four kilohertz.
