PSPaudioware brings analog grit to PSP BBDelay

PSP BBDelay recreates those quirky Bucket Brigade Device chips from a legendary 1980s unit, delivering warm repeats packed with organic movement and musical flaws. Modeled chips, compander behavior, and circuit imperfections give every echo its own evolving texture and life.

You get Mono, Dual Mono, Ping-Pong, and Reverb modes, with delay stretching to 800ms or double that in x2 mode. Four modulation waveforms, adjustable chip spread for wider stereo, and three dirt modes ramp up the grit progressively. Smooth analog-style speed control comes with Time and Tempo Sync options.

Transient shaping sculpts attack on repeats, while a built-in ducker keeps delays clean during performance. The gate handles rhythmic effects, and saturation offers multiple response curves. Tone shaping lives inside the feedback path with high-pass, low-pass, and resonant filtering.

Everything runs at 64-bit internally with zero added latency on the dry signal. The preset browser packs Favorites, A/B comparison, and Undo/Redo. Grab it for macOS or Windows in VST2, VST3, AU, or AAX at 69 bucks through August 10, regularly 99.
