Pundit urges Napoli swap Lookman for Zaccagni Ndoye

An Italian football expert told Napoli they should avoid signing Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman. Marcelo Altamura thinks the player causes problems because he refuses to follow team orders. The expert wants Napoli to chase Mattia Zaccagni and Dan Ndoye instead of the Atalanta star. His warning came despite Lookman having a great season for his current club. Many people expected Napoli to make a move for the Nigerian after his strong performances.

Altamura explained that Lookman struggles with following tactical instructions during matches. He called the player an anarchic talent who might score amazing goals but ignores what coaches tell him to do. The expert prefers Zaccagni and Ndoye because they listen better and work well with teammates. He thinks both players would fit Napoli's style much better than Lookman would. Altamura believes these two alternatives would cause fewer headaches for the coaching staff.

Lookman had impressive numbers during the recent Serie A season with Atalanta. The Nigerian forward scored 15 goals and created 5 assists across 31 league matches. His strong performance made several top clubs interested in signing him this summer. Napoli emerged as one of the main teams wanting to bring him to their squad. However, Altamura thinks the club should look elsewhere for attacking reinforcements.
