The next phase of filming for director Buchi Babu Sana’s action film “Peddi,” starring Ram Charan, will start on Friday in Pune, according to sources close to the production. The rural action drama, produced by Venkata Satish Kilaru under Vriddhi Cinemas and presented by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings, is progressing quickly. The new schedule will feature a song sequence with Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor, composed by AR Rahman and choreographed by Jani Master.
Earlier, the crew shot a major song with 1,000 dancers in Mysore on Vinayaka Chavithi, also choreographed by Jani Master. Post-production work is being conducted in parallel with filming to maintain the release timeline. The cast features Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, and Divyendu Sharma, with cinematography by R Rathnavelu and editing by Navin Nooli. “Peddi” is set for a pan-India theatrical release on March 27, 2026, coinciding with Ram Charan’s birthday.
