Kapoor praised filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali as his mentor during the discussion, and he expressed enthusiasm about their reunion for Love and War alongside Vicky Kaushal and Alia Bhatt. The actor began his film career as an assistant on Bhansali's Black before making his 2007 debut in Saawariya.
