Ras Mubarak hails Mahama’s UNGA fire, calls it Mugabe-level

National Democratic Congress leader Ras Mubarak commended President John Dramani Mahama's United Nations General Assembly presentation. The former Kumbungu parliamentarian compared the address to Robert Mugabe's memorable 2007 appearance before world leaders. Mubarak emphasized the president's support for Cuba and criticism of American visa restrictions against Palestinian representatives. He described the speech as compelling Pan-African rhetoric that addressed international concerns.

Mahama advocated for permanent African representation on the Security Council during his Thursday address. The Ghanaian leader proposed oversight mechanisms to prevent veto power abuse by member nations. He requested General Assembly authority to challenge Security Council decisions when necessary. Mahama warned delegates about institutional failures similar to the League of Nations collapse while referencing ongoing conflicts involving Israel and Russia.
