Ready or Not sells 2M on console, angers PC players with changes

VOID Interactive achieved remarkable commercial success with Ready or Not's console debut. The tactical shooter generated one million sales during its initial four days on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. This performance elevated total sales across all platforms to ten million units. Console sales continued strong momentum, reaching two million copies within fourteen days of release. The milestone pushed overall sales to eleven million units since the game's original PC launch.

Chief Executive Officer Julio Rodriguez acknowledged player support and development team efforts through LinkedIn communications. PC players expressed significant dissatisfaction with changes implemented during the console update rollout. Steam users initiated review bombing campaigns, citing concerns about content censorship and visual quality reductions. Many PC players characterized graphics modifications as downgrades designed to match console hardware limitations. VOID Interactive faces pressure to address community concerns and potentially reverse controversial changes affecting its established player base.
