Real Madrid target freebie trio Konate Mosquera Skelly

Real Madrid loves signing players without paying transfer fees. The Spanish giants just grabbed Alexander Arnold from Liverpool after his contract expired. Madrid scouts watch three defenders who might become free agents during summer 2026. The team wants fresh talent to fix their injury problems at the back.

French center back Ibrahima Konate from Liverpool leads Madrid's wish list. The club needs defenders who can stay healthy and play at the highest level. Young Spanish defender Cristian Mosquera from Valencia also catches their attention. Arsenal left back Myles Lewis-Skelly rounds out the trio of targets.

Skelly impressed fans with his attacking runs during Premier League and Champions League matches last season. Reports suggest Arsenal gave him a new contract but Madrid hopes the deal never gets signed. The Spanish club believes they can persuade all three players to join them for nothing. Madrid's strategy of waiting for contracts to end has worked well before.
